About The Farm
Finca De Dios is nestled in the mountains of Fraijanes, Guatemala—a region located north of Lake Amatitlán, in the highlands surrounding the Valley of Ermita and Guatemala City. Coffee here is harvested from late December through March at elevations between 4,300 and 6,000 feet.
The Fraijanes region is characterized by its volcanic pumice soil, abundant rainfall, and dramatic topography, including an active volcano. These factors, combined with pronounced microclimates, contribute to the uniquely balanced flavor profile found in Fraijanes coffees. During the dry season, the region enjoys plenty of sunshine. While fog and heavy dew are common at sunrise, they dissipate quickly, allowing for optimal sun-drying of the coffee.
