Colombian coffee is among the most recognizable and most dynamic in the world, with multiple growing regions whose distinct yet consistently crowd-pleasing profiles reflect the various microclimates that exist in the large country.
The Gran Galope project was started in Colombia to separate out the very top tier of a large number of offerings. These coffees would otherwise be blended away and sold at street market prices. Instead, they have created a program that separates a consistent and strong level of quality, creating a staple in our offerings and paying a premium to farmers that deserve a reward for their hard work.
