The Opportunity:

Cook / 20 hrs weekly (must work weekends) / $16 hourly starting

We are looking to build our cooking team at Ragamuffin as we build a bigger food program and get ready to provide more delicious food to our loyal patrons. We want someone who is task oriented and highly self motivated; someone who has excellent communication, who functions well in a fast paced environment and who is great at multitasking. Professional cooking experience is encouraged but not required. Basic cooking & knife skills are a must.

This job involves a lot of food prep, cutting, chopping, cooking / assembling, cleaning, dish washing, multitasking, and requires much adaptability. It is a fast paced environment with a shared work space (as the kitchen currently shares the front of house) so working well with people is essential. Cooks work close together in an area that is customer facing requiring them to be friendly, clean, efficient, and organized while also comfortably interacting with guests.
