Flavor notes: bourbon, coconut, cocoa, raspberry, lychee

In our second collaboration with Smog City Brewing we decided to double down and double-barrel, this year's edition of "Only In Dreams". Using the same Colombian coffee from the Finca Villa Sofia farm that was processed with an extended anaerobic fermentation, we aged the coffee again Smog City Brewing Co’s "Infinite Wishes”, their annual release barrel-aged imperial stout.

As it is being brewed the strong oak and bourbon aroma from the barrel fill the room. Though the bourbon is strong when you first take a sip, it immediately cools into a mixture of coconut and cocoa. A slight raspberry tartness and sweet lychee are followed by a smooth finish that helps balance the cup.  as its smooth finish gives you that "warm body" feeling.
