About The Farm
The women farmers of Turihamwe Coffee in Ngozi Province, Burundi, are a true example of collaboration and entrepreneurship. For the past several years, they’ve dedicated themselves to producing high-quality coffee while building a sustainable future for their families and community. Working side by side, they studied, saved, and invested their coffee premiums until they were able to build their very own wet mill — giving them full control of quality from harvest through processing. The group chose the name Turihamwe, which means “together” in Kirundi, a reflection of both their teamwork and their vision for the future.
