This coffee comes from our friends at A Coffee. (the people we went to visit in Colombia) We were actually able to visit and see this exact coffee being grown at the family farm of our host, Andres Jaramillo. A Coffee specializes in agroforestry, organic fertalizer and, this coffee is 100% free of pesticides.
A Coffee started experimenting with the original Pink Bourbon variety (one of the most well know in specialty coffee in Colombia), but planted it at 2070 masl. This altitude, combined with crazy environmental conditions + changes to the plant's metabolism through nutrition and environment adjustments, has allowed us to produce exceptional coffee. We also experimented with different crop cover systems and countless other variables.
